Here you will experience an authentically rich stay in the Château de Rochecotte, an 18th century château located in the famous Loire Valley, midway between Tours and Saumur. The château is set in a charming, tranquil 19-acre park with paths and walkways to explore and a heated swimming pool in which to relax and soak in the ambiance. Once the private estate of Prince Talleyrand, the château was extensively renovated and modernized in 1986 and reopened as a hotel. There are 35 rooms and 3 suites, all tastefully decorated and furnished, overlooking the charming gardens and woodland setting. The restaurant enjoys an enviable reputation for haute cuisine and is a gourmet’s delight with the menu du jour. The château is ideally located for visiting all the famous châteaux, abbeys, churches and museums as well as the area’s world-famous vineyards.

    Arrival in Paris. After check-in at your hotel, the balance of the day is at leisure to explore Paris, the magnificent capital of France.     Your included morning city tour features the Arc de Triomphe, Opera House, Champs-Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral and much more. There is so much to see and do in Paris, a city so aptly called the City of Lights, where exciting evening outings are a must.     After breakfast, pick up your rental car and drive to the Chateau de Rochecotte located in the heart of the Loire Valley. Set in a charming, tranquil 19-acre park, it was once the private estate of Prince Talleyrand. (B)
