Itinerary

  1. CAPE TOWN

    Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the balance of the day at leisure to explore the country’s capital that boasts natural wonders all around – from pristine beaches and beautiful harbors to majestic mountains and lush greenery.

  2. CAPE TOWN

    After breakfast, you will tour Clifton to Camps Bay and head on to Llandudno. Drive along Chapman’s Peak Drive and the Cape of Good Hope Section of Table Mountain National Park before meandering back along the coast, visiting Simon’s Town and the penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. If traveling in the summer, conclude the tour at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, or if traveling in winter, you will venture on to Groot Constantia for a wine tasting and cellar tour. (B)

  3. CAPE TOWN I OUDTSHOORN

    Depart Cape Town and travel through the “Little Karoo” and Montagu, a picturesque and historic spa town. Enroute, stop off in the town of Barrydale where you will have the opportunity to visit a local farm school, interact with the children and teachers, and spend time with them in the classroom learning more about the local farming community. Continue on to Oudtshoorn, the “ostrich feather capital” and center of the world’s Ostrich farming industry. (The school visit is subject to the school being open). (B,D)

  4. OUDTSHOORN I KNYSNA

    After breakfast, take a tour of the spectacular limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages. Return to Oudtshoorn for a tour and light lunch at an Ostrich Farm. Your journey continues over the scenic Outeniqua Pass to George, the administrative hub of the Garden Route area and then on to Knysna, situated on the banks of a beautiful lagoon and known as the oyster box of South Africa.   5. KNYSNA

    Start your splendid day with breakfast at your hotel and then embark on a lagoon cruise to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Here you can take a trailer ride to the top of the Western Head to enjoy panoramic views of the town and lagoon. The afternoon is yours at leisure to further explore this charming town set around a natural harbor lagoon. (B,L)

  6. KNYSNA I ALBERTINIA

    After a leisurely breakfast, travel via George and Mossel Bay to Albertinia, a town set against the backdrop of the majestic Langeberg Mountain Range. Enjoy an afternoon open vehicle game drive at a private game reserve that is home to an abundance of animal and birdlife, including the Big Five – rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, and elephants.   7. ALBERTINIA I HERMANUS

    Rise and shine with breakfast before continuing on your safari adventure with an early morning open vehicle game drive. Leaving the bush behind, head on to the picturesque Cape Dutch town of Swellendam. This charming town was founded in 1745 and is famous for its youngberries, eclectic architecture, and National Parks. Today’s journey ends in the seaside resort of Hermanus. (B,D)

  8. HERMANUS I FRANSCHHOEK I CAPE TOWN

    After a leisurely breakfast, depart Hermanus and travel to Franschhoek, a charming village surrounded by spectacular vineyards. This is where French Huguenots settled more than 300 years ago, bringing with them their age-old French wine and food culture. Your insightful guide will take you on a tour through Franschhoek village, sharing the fascinating history of the French Huguenots. Travel on to Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa, spectacularly set at the foot of Table Mountain where the tour ends on arrival. (B)
